Clothing Banks

Clothing Banks

What items can be donated?

Good quality clothing, shoes, handbags and belts that still have plenty of life in them for someone else to use and wear.  Items that cannot be reworn are shredded and recycled into other materials, like mattress stuffing. Please put your donated items into a bag before putting then into the clothes bank. It helps to keep donated items clean, keep pairs of shoes etc together, and is easier for the collection teams to collect.

What items can't be donated?

Work uniforms, hi-visibility items, pillows, duvets, damaged/wet or contaminated clothing.

Woodton's other clothes bank is located in  the grounds of Woodton Primary School. The money raised from the sale of the contents goes to the school. This bank is open to anyone whenever the gates are open during school term term. The bank isn't accessible during weekends, bank holidays or during school holidays.
